Lions players back in Bromley

After a week away for a team bonding week at Warwick University, boss Steve Lomas and his charges returned to Calmont Road today to continue The Lions' pre-season preparations.

New signings Lee Martin and Steve Morison got their first taste of training at the Bromley training ground, although in Steve's case it was more about familiarising himself with the facilities once again having returned to the club for a second spell.

Speaking to Lions Player manager Steve said: "Having a week away was a good opportunity for the lads to spend a bit of time together.
The facilities were good; the pitches were good and the food was good. The lads were excellent over the five days and that's what we needed.

We did a bit of go-karting on one of the days and all I would say is that I hope, with some of the lads, that they are better at football than they are at driving!"

A full interview with Steve will be available to Lions Player subscribers shortly.
