Steve satisfied with Den display
Millwall manager Steve Lomas was pleased with the workout in Saturday's 1-0 win over Spanish visitors Rayo Vallecano in Paul Robinson's Testimonial.
A second-half penalty from summer signing Steve Morison proved to be the winner and Lomas, who was in charge of a game at The Den for the first time, believes his side are well prepared for next Saturday's Championship opener at home to Yeovil Town.
"There was a clean sheet and you're always happy with them," Lomas said after the game. "You're happy for your striker to get a goal and we had a couple of other little chances in the first-half as well as restricting them to very few opportunities.
"They kept the ball well and would probe so it was good for our defensive shape. We looked solid but on the flip side we could've maybe kept it better when we had it, but overall I'm very satisfied."
