Injury update

30 July 2013

Latest from the treatment room

All eyes are fully focused on Saturday's Championship opener at home to Yeovil Town with manager Steve Lomas aiming to hit the ground running at The Den.
For Liam Trotter, however, Saturday comes just too soon to be considered for selection following his knee operation.
Physio Bobby Bacic brings us the very latest from the treatment room: "Liam is getting on well with his rehab after his op and is the only player in the injury room at present.
Scott McDonald had been held back for a short period to enable his pelvic problem to settle down but will now report back for full training on Thursday.
Lee Martin (knee) and Shane Lowry (thigh) both played in the friendly with QPR on Monday and got some minutes as they continue their rehabilitation, whilst Nicky Bailey is working towards full match fitness and also featured in that game.
As for the rest of the boys, they are in full or modified training with our fitness specialists Alan Pearson and Warren Cock looking forward to getting off the training pitch and playing at The Den again on Saturday."
