Full steam ahead

11 July 2013

Final preparations underway ahead of Crawley test

Former Derby County winger Lee Croft, who attended the training camp at Warwick University last week, was once again involved for the same reason.

The numbers were boosted in Thursday morning's training session with the addition of former Reading and England defender Nicky Shorey and ex-Fulham and Ghanaian right-back John Paintsil, both of whom Lomas has allowed to train with his squad in order to maintain their own personal fitness.

Lomas has confirmed that many first team players will get 45 minutes of match action under their belts as preparations for the big Championship kick-off on August 3rd intensify.

Steve Lomas takes charge of his first pre-season fixture as Millwall manager when The Lions travel to the Broadfield Stadium to face League One club Crawley Town on Saturday (3pm).
