Smells like team spirit

Jimmy sounds the battle cry

Millwall's reigning Player of the Year Jimmy Abdou is in no doubt that the noise generated by Lions fans could be the key to his team pulling off an FA Cup shock against Premier League strugglers Aston Villa tonight.
Jimmy, a firm favourite with The Den faithful since his move from Plymouth Argyle in August 2008, is relishing the prospect of pitting his non-stop style of play against Paul Lambert's outfit.
"This is a great opportunity for Millwall," he said. "It's fantastic for our supporters because it is a long time since a big club have come down here.
Our fans have been unbelievable to me since I came here, and everyone at the club has been so supportive these last few weeks too as my son undergoes chemotherapy.
The culture at Millwall is to battle and fight for every game and that's what I want to do.
We are not the biggest club in the division and there are a lot of bigger clubs than us, so we have to have more fighting spirit than anyone else.
We want there to be an upset and we have to concentrate for the 90 minutes, but Bradford have shown in the League Cup that anyone can get to Wembley.
If I score I would like to make a gesture for my son, especially at home because he was often there to support me, but I don;t get many!"
