Boss confirms forward thinkingKenny Jackett praised the contributions of striker Dany N'Guessan and winger Liam Feeney in Millwall's New Year's Day success against Bristol City.
With the departure of Chris Wood following his loan spell, and both Andy Keogh and Chris Taylor sidelined through injury, N'Guessan and Feeney grabbed the chance to stake their claims for regular starts.
"They both played vital roles," admitted Kenny. "Liam put in some excellent crosses and Dany showed that he has the capacity to make an impact up front in this Division. The challenge is now for him to repeat that level of performance against Preston on Saturday."
The Lions boss has made no secret of the fact that he is looking to add to his squad, however, and confirmed that Hull City front man Aaron Mclean is amongst the striking targets on his list.
"Mclean is just one of the players we are looking at and we have made an enquiry about his availability. The ball is in Hull's court on that one but we have other targets."
