Striker agrees terms at City Ground
Darius Henderson has agreed terms with Nottingham Forest and is set to join the Midlands outfit for an undisclosed fee until the end of the season.
Hendo scored 22 League goals in 41 starts plus 19 sub appearances since joining the club from Sheffield United in the summer of 2011, and Lions boss Kenny Jackett paid tribute to his efforts.
"Darius has done very well for us and I wish him the best for the future. I had to make a decision going forward about his contract and we felt it was best for him to take the opportunity on offer at Forest.
In the short term I'm aware it leaves us a bit short of firepower, but this is an area I'm keen to regenerate and I'll be looking to do so by bringing in new faces as soon as possible."
Darius' last goal for Millwall was back on 3rd November, ironically at the City Ground.
A full interview with Kenny on Hendo's departure will be available to Lions Player subscribers shortly.
