Exciting times

Woolford features in Saturday's programme

It's a case of the old and the new at The Den on Saturday as The Lions take on former Millwall player Sean Dyche's Burnley side looking to climb into the top six with The Den faithful hoping to catch their first glimpse of recent signings Nathan Tyson and Martyn Woolford; with the latter featuring in our matchday programme.
Martyn, who joined from Bristol City last week, made his Lions debut up at Bolton Wanderers and is delighted to be a Millwall player.
"It's an exciting time to be here," he told us. "The club is doing very well and is on the fringes of the Play-Offs which made the move even more interesting for me.
As well, I got the chance to sit down with the manager and speak to him about what he wants from myself, and for the club, which was all very encouraging. He was enthusiastic about me coming here and it's always nice when you know a manager wants you to play for him."
Like most who join Millwall, Martyn also spoke about the superb backing given to the side from Lions supporters, and the winger can't wait to feature in front of them for the first time.
"The fans are extremely passionate here which is another plus. I've been on the wrong side of them a few times which isn't always nice so it will be good to have them behind me."
We also speak to James Henry in the latest Facebook Q&A. The winger tells all about who has the worst dress sense and taste in music at the club, what his favourite moment playing for Millwall has been and who he enjoys playing with the most.
For all of the above and much, much more don't forget to pick up your copy of the matchday programme for just £3.
