Rob's relishing Hatters challenge

12 February 2013

Striker Hulse eyes Cup triumph

Rob Hulse is relishing the prospect of trying to fire Millwall into the FA Cup Quarter Finals when The Lions lock horns with Luton Town on Saturday.
Striker Rob, who is on loan from QPR until the end of the season, made his full debut for Kenny Jackett's side in last weekend's defeat at Blackpool. Although it was the fourth successive loss in the league, the mood in the Lions camp is still a positive one, and Hulse insists that plenty of plus points can be taken from the loss against The Seasiders.
"I thought we played well," he told us after seeing two of his own efforts rebound off the woodwork during the game," he said.
"We didn't come away with the result we deserved after creating a lot of chances."
Millwall travel to Kenilworth Road looking to progress to the Sixth Round of the Cup for the first time since 2004, and Rob believes it presents an opportunity to get back to winning ways.
"We're all looking forward to it," he enthused. "It might be just what we need to get us firing again. The Cup takes your mind off the League a little bit and there will be a lot of fans there. We need to treat it like a normal game, not get caught up in it, and if we apply ourselves properly we can get through to the next round."
Don't forget that if you do not have a ticket to the game you can listen to full live match commentary on Lions Player or watch the game on ESPN.
