Police make arrest

13 February 2013

Further investigations ongoing

Gerard Scanlon, a 53-year-old lorry driver from Enfield, North London, was arrested on Tuesday evening in connection with events at the Millwall v Leeds United match on 18th November 2012.
He has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence and bailed to appear at Bromley Magistrates Court at 10am on 27th February.
A previous mis-spelling of Mr Scanlon's name indicated that he was not a season ticket holder. This should now be corrected. However, pending the forthcoming court case, he is banned from all Millwall matches.
Police investigations are ongoing in the light of recent evidence made available to them.
