No room for error

15 February 2013

Kenny spells it out

Kenny Jackett has warned his players that there can be no room for complacency as his side aim to book a place in the last eight of the FA Cup at the expense of giant-killing Luton Town.
The Lions head to a sold-out Kenilworth Road on Saturday determined not to end up another victim of the Hatters giant-killing feat that has seen the Bedfordshire outfit already beat Wolves and Premier League Norwich City on their way to the Fifth Round.
Non-league Luton aim to make history by beating Millwall tomorrow, but Den boss Kenny has other ideas stating: "We feel it is a really big opportunity for us.
This is a great chance for both clubs to get through to the last eight of the FA Cup and from our point of view, we haven’t been in the Quarter Finals since 2004, so we want to try and take this opportunity to get there if we can.
We have watched quite a number of their games and also seen the DVD of their win at Norwich in the last round, where they did very, very well to beat Norwich.
In no way can we underestimate our opposition because their performances so far have been fantastic."
Luton boss Paul Buckle added a word of warning, stating: "Can we get through the quarter finals? Yes we can, we've earned the right to be here.
The game is at home, where we have a terrific record this season, and we will all go down in history at this club if we pull it off."
Don't forget that if you do not have ticket for the game you can watch it live on ESPN or get full live match commentary on Lions Player.
