14 February 2013

Prizes up for grabs

There's more than just personal pride to play for in Phones 4u Fantasy Football, you also nail your colours to the mast in the Fans Championship.
The best 10 fantasy football teams join forces to represent their favourite npower Championship club in the battle for a behind the scenes tour and the latest handsets from Phones 4u.
Bristol City still lead the way in the season-long standings, two points clear of Leeds United, although npower Championship trailblazers Cardiff City are closing fast.
Matt Howis and Ian Cameron are spearheading Bristol City's charge after climbing into the top 10 in Phones 4u Fantasy Football.
Howis has built his Howid Madrid team around a spine of Cardiff and Leicester City players, while Cameron has recently reinforced his attack with Robert Koren and Billy Sharp.
The Fans Championship compares each club's average score so it's no surprise to see Leeds battling for the title when they have five managers with at least 500 points.
Allan Brown, Lord Snoddy, Chris Brady, Andy Luckhurst andVanyaJackson are all among the top 32 managers in the game.
Cardiff have the overall leader of Phones 4u Fantasy Football Tom Slocombe within their ranks and their star performer has racked up 551 points so far.
Slocombe's Foreign Investors FC boasts three Cardiff defenders and the points have been flooding in on the back of a league high 13 clean sheets.
The npower Championshp leaders' fans combined to finish January in second place and are fifth in February thanks to Daniel Dursley and Alanaa John, who have both netted 55 points for the month.

Meanwhile it's Sheffield Wednesday who are dominating the February contest, and for the second month in a row.
The January winners of the Fans Championship are four points clear of Blackburn this time around and their challenge has a Merseyside flavour.
Wednesday's leading lights for February are Liverpool 2013/14, managed by Mike Smith, and Jon Kirby's Kings of Leon Osman.
Smith is sitting pretty atop the Phones 4u Fantasy Football standings for February thanks to Derby County striker Jamie Ward, while Kirby has put faith in the Owls' very own Michail Antonio.
It's not too late to help Millwall in the fight for Fans Championship glory because there are prizes awarded every month!
