Help the Peckham Foodbank
With extra heating bills now unavoidable due to the decrease in temperature there is no more crucial time to make a donation.
So far your generous support has seen on average 50kg of food donated to those in need at each home game.
Peckham Foodbank has fed over 1,000 people since April 2012 and saw a sharp increase in the number of families turning to them for help over the summer.
Today, and every other home game at The Den this season, will see the Peckham Foodbank collecting again by the Blue Bus before kick-off.

Making ends meet is a precarious business for those on low incomes. It only takes an unexpected bill or rise in the cost of food to push people over the edge...all sorts of people.
Food banks help people who've lost their jobs, single parents, business owners whose customers aren't paying on time and families where two jobs aren't enough."
Items currently needed include tinned meat, UHT milk, sugar, fruit juice (cartons), soup, pasta sauces, sponge pudding (tinned), tomatoes (tinned), cereals, rice pudding (tinned), tea bags/instant coffee, instant mash potato, rice, vegetables (tinned), fruit (tinned), biscuits or snack bars. Items not needed at the moment are baked beans and pasta.
