John features in Saturday's matchday programme

A week ago John Marquis hadn't started a game for Millwall in over a year, and hadn't scored for The Lions since August 2011 - but what a way to change that! The striker will be looking to make a similar impact against Steve Bruce's Hull City side as he did against Aston Villa, and speaks to us at length about that very special night at The Den.
"It's right up there (with the best occasions of his career)," he admits. "Your debut is always nice and signing the professional deal was a special moment too. But it's one of my most important goals for Millwall and for it to be against Premier League opposition made it even nicer."
Now fit and firing in 2013, John looks back to what was a a frustrating previous 12 months after spending the majority of his time in the treatment room.
"I had a lot of injuries in 2012 and overall it just wasn't a good year for me. I've said to myself that I want to make this year a better one so I was very happy to be told I was the starting the (Villa) game.
As well, it was important that I got some much-needed game time. I'm still not 100 per cent match fit but that will come by playing more games."
On top of our chat with John, we put your questions to Liam Trotter in our recent Facebook Q&A. Liam talks about his best performance in a Lions shirt, who his ideal midfield partner would be and where he gets his vast array of goal celebrations from!
