Robbo issues rallying cry
Millwall skipper Paul Robinson has called for he and his team-mates to put an end to their away day woes with a win over Watford on Boxing Day.
The Lions head to Vicarage Road on the back of two consecutive defeats and are 19th in the Championship - four points above the drop zone - but Robbo believes that the Christmas period is the ideal opportunity to turn their fortunes around.
"The games are coming thick and fast and the match at Watford gives us a chance to immediately bounce back from what was a disappointing performance and result on Saturday," he told millwallfc.co.uk
"The players are working as hard as ever on the training ground and there is a confidence and belief within us that we can start winning games on a regular basis sooner rather than later.
"Everybody was rightly disappointed with what happened against Middlesbrough, and it's up to us players to put that right when we step back out there on Boxing Day.
"Now is the time for everybody to pull in the same direction, and if we show the kind of intensity and quality that we are capable of against Watford, then that will only help us to get the positive result that we all want."
