Lions v Latics down the years

Saturday's home game will be the 24th meeting between Millwall and Wigan Athletic - and to date The Lions hold the upper hand in terms of results.

Millwall have beaten Wigan eight times in League meetings, with seven matches drawn and the Latics victorious in five games.

The Lions and Latics have each recorded one victory apiece in the FA Cup whilst Wigan ended up victorious in the only League Cup meeting between the two teams.

Overall there is little to seperate the two teams, with Millwall enjoying nine wins,  seven games drawn and Wigan coming out top on seven occasions.
