Dunne praises team-mate Forde
Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill may have left the Den early on Saturday, but no doubt word would have filtered through to him about Millwall keeper David Forde's magnificent last-gasp save from Leon Barnett.
O'Neill was in the stand running the rule over a group of Irishmen including Fordey, Alan Dunne, Liam Feeney and Andy Keogh as Millwall secured a 2-1 win against Wigan.
Having witnessed a number of top saves from Fordey, O'Neill unfortunately missed the best of the lot - a stunning tip-over from Barnett's goal-bound header.
"I thought it was in," said right-back Dunne of Forde's last-gasp stop which secured three big points for The Lions.
"He did really well to get there and it was a fantastic save. That just shows what quality form he has been in.
He is a big player for us on and off the field, he is a big character in the dressing room. He is a Millwall type of player and they are hard to get hold of."
