On the move

Henry makes Wolves move permanent

Millwall have agreed an undisclosed fee with Wolves for the transfer of James Henry on 2nd January following his recent loan spell at Molineux.

James made 163 senior appearances for Millwall, scoring 19 goals, having been signed, initially on loan by former Lions boss Kenny Jackett with whom he linked up again earlier this season.

Millwall CEO Andy Ambler said: "Following the departure of Kenny, James indicated as early as last summer, that he would not be renewing his contract with us once it ran out in June 2014.

Taking that into account, we decided it would be in the best interests of ourselves to allow James to move on in order that we could secure a fee for him which would not be the case if he were to leave next summer.

Our priority now is to appoint a new manager and assess with him the areas of the squad that need strengthening."
