Robbo hopes Den advantage will work in Millwall's favour

Millwall skipper Paul Robinson says he and his team-mates must repeat elements of the performance against Nottingham Forest on Saturday - but ensure that they tighten up defensively against managerless Wigan Athletic.

Steve Lomas' men took the lead twice on Tuesday only to be pegged back on both occasions, but the overall performance was a vast improvement on last Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Leicester and Robbo, speaking in his programme notes, says the side must continue in the same manner against The Latics.

"Like Tuesday, we have to really go at Wigan early in the game and force them onto the back foot," he tells The Lion. "Wigan have not long been out of the Premier League and are the FA Cup holders so we know we are in for a tough game."

He continues: "They have a very good squad with some big name players. We have to be at full tilt 100% to pick up wins, and we must repeat elements of Tuesday's performance again, whilst doing all we can to tighten things up at the back.

"We must ensure that we do all we can to make it an unpleasant afternoon for Wigan's players. Hopefully home advantage will help us to drive on and get all three points."
