Good week at the office

10 December 2013

Now Moro wants more of the same

Patience has proved to be a virtue for striker Steve Morison who has returned to his goalscoring best with two goals in as many games to help Millwall take four points from two tough matches in a week.

Frontman Moro returned to the starting line-up against Nottingham Forest seven days ago following a poor 3-0 defeat Leicester City and marked his first full appearance since 17th August with a goal after just eight minutes in a 2-2 draw.

He then followed up against Wigan Athletic on Saturday with an even quicker strike, this time after barely 90 seconds, to set the Lions on their way to a crucial 2-1 victory.

Now he is looking to continue in the same scoring vein when Millwall travel to Blackburn Rovers this week, determined to improve on an away record that has reaped just one win this season at neighbours Charlton Athletic on 21st September.

"We looked at the week after the game at Leicester and said that we needed to pick some points up," Steve told Lions Player. "We managed to do that and I managed to score a couple of goals along the way as well.

Now we need to keep things going and improve our away results, starting at Blackburn this weekend."
