Belief and desire

Robbo spells it out ahead of Forest test

Lions skipper Paul Robinson believes he and his team-mates must force Nottingham Forest on the back foot at The Den on Tuesday evening.

Steve Lomas' men are unbeaten in their last five home games but were defeated 3-0 away to Leicester on Saturday and Robbo, speaking in his programme notes, has called on The Lions to do all they can to return to winning ways against Billy Davies' team.

"Nottingham Forest are another side up in the Play-Off mix and will see tonight's game as a really important one," he says in The Lion. "It is up to us to set the tempo and force them on the back foot, which is exactly how it should be here at The Den.

"After Saturday's defeat we need to show a response, and when that has been the case this season we have bounced back in the right fashion.

"Everyone - fans, staff and players - want to get back to winning games on a regular basis and the lads will be working their socks off to achieve that.

"We have the belief and desire to do it, and with everybody sticking together and moving in the right direction we will get there."
