"Sometimes there's a danger you can over-analyse things," he said.
"The bottom line in both those games was that there were periods at 0-0 when we got on top and had chances to take the lead. We failed to make the most of those opportunities and were punished for our mistakes at the other end.
It may sound simple, because it is. At this level, in a tight division, the team that scores the first goal goes on to win the game more often than not.
