Lions beat Bees
Millwall took on Brentford in a friendly fixture at The Bees' training ground on Tuesday afternoon and recorded a 2-1 victory thanks to an own goal in the first minute and a Dany N'Guessan strike, with Sam Saunders netting a consolation for the home side.
Both sides comprised of first teamers who didn't start for their respective clubs at the weekend, allowing players to get much needed match-time into their legs at this early stage of the campaign.
Neil Harris, who took charge of The Lions said: "It was a good game between two strong sides and we're pleased both with the individual and collective performances.
It was important for the likes of Paul Robinson and Lee Martin in particular to continue along the road to full match fitness, and for everyone in the side it was an opportunity to give the manager a nudge in terms of his selection for Saturday's game against Huddersfield."
Millwall: Marshall, Dunne, Robinson, Osborne, Malone, Feeney, Wright, Woolford, Martin, McDonald, N'Guessan.
