A matter of choice

Boss contemplates options for Huddersfield

Steve Lomas is looking for the winning formula as his Millwall side aim to get their first Championship points of the season on board.

With the exception of David Forde and Liam Trotter, still recovering from minor knee ops, the Lions boss has a full pack to select from and may make changes on Saturday after two consecutive League defeats.

The likes of Paul Robinson, Lee Martin and Scott McDonald are now pretty much up to speed following another outing in Tuesday's friendly at Brentford, and all three will be challenging for a place in the starting XI this weekend.

There is no shortage of options in other areas either, with Alan Dunne, Jimmy Abdou, Scott Malone, Josh Wright and Martyn Woolford also in contention.

Stephen Bywater is set to make his home League debut for The Lions and there could also be a home debut for loanee midfielder Shaun Derry.

Former Ipswich Town keeper Arran Lee-Barratt has been signed on a short-term agreement as cover for Andy Marshall who tweaked a calf muscle at Brentford. He will wear squad number 31.

Ex-Lion Anton Robinson (knee) is not fit to face his former club, and Keith Southern (calf) will also be missing for The Terriers.
Jon Stead and Jonathan Hogg could both be in line to return to action, however.
