Skipper wins the fans' vote

Skipper Danny Shittu has been crowned Millwall's Player of the Year 2012/13 after polling 44% of the vote.
Defender Danny has won over The Den faithful in his first full season at the club with his commitment and leadership qualities on the field, whilst his warmth and friendly persona off the field has made him an instant hit with fans of all ages.
"When you hear the way people talk about you, despite only playing a few games for the club, means so much," beamed Danny.
"To know that you can work hard to achieve what you want at a club, and to have people who pay to watch you and appreciate what you do in support, is so important for a footballer. I am truly honoured to win this award."
Goalkeeper David Forde, who has enjoyed an outstanding season between the sticks for Millwall, finished in second spot having polled 23% of the vote whilst wing wizard James Henry (12%) finished third.
It has proved to be a memorable campaign for captain Danny, who was the runaway winner to scoop the Junior Lions Player of the Year award too.
Young midfield prospect Fred Onyedinma has been selected as the Schoolboy of the Year.
