Physio's file on skipper, Liam and John
The injuries at present are all progressing well.
Lions physio Bobby Bacic brings us up to date on the very latest from the treatment room:
Liam Feeney has started very light outdoor rehab along with Karleigh Osborne. John Marquis is having his stitches removed from his operation site this week and will progress his gym work. It is important he stays infection-free at the site of the stitches otherwise complications can occur and we are pleased that he seems to be past the danger period.
Paul Robinson is having a frustrating time at present, as although he can train, he is experiencing pain in his pelvic area when he loads maximally during matches. The hernia repair he had is intact so we are now investigating the pelvis through a series of very detailed scans. These are being done at a new specialist unit in central London where Paul is injected with a dye before the scan to enhance the areas of inflammation. The scans will then be read by two specialists in a bid to get to the root of the problem. We will update Paul's situation as he progresses with his consultations.
