Kenny seeking home comfort

Lions boss looking to build on away results

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett hopes his side can build on their recent good form with positive results in this week's games at The Den.
Birmingham City are the visitors tonight before Huddersfield Town make the long journey south on Saturday, and Kenny believes the point at Crystal Palace will only look a good result if The Lions gain all three this evening.
"We're looking to build on what we felt was a good point and a good comeback on Saturday. They look good points away from home if you win your home games. We had a cracking performance and result against Bolton last time at The Den. It's very important for me as a manager to do well in front of our home supporters, and we'll be looking to replicate our recent performances this week starting against Birmingham".
On top of a positive result, Kenny is looking for his side to improve defensively. The Lions are yet to pick up a clean sheet so far this season, and despite being on a four-game unbeaten run the boss knows things have to change.
"The goals against column is still a concern. We have to do better defensively, definitely. We have to sustain periods of pressure without conceding goals. We're unbeaten in four games but those things we have to keep working on".
Birmingham City will be wearing their pink third kit this evening. A percentage of money from sales of the replica kits is being donated to breast cancer charities.
