Four-midable display at Forest honoured
Performance of the Week following the excellent 4-1 away win against Nottingham Forest last Saturday. F&C InvestmentsThe League Managers Association five-man Performance of the Week panel, comprising LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry have awarded Millwall the Lions assistant manager Joe Gallen will receive a specially engraved crystal football in a presentation to commemorate the award.
Millwall won the 10th F&CInvestments Performance of the Week Award of the season with that thumping victory at the City Ground.
After the match Gallen commented:
"The important thing is for us not to get carried away with the win. It's a massive achievement to come to a place like this, score four goals and beat Forest. But while our fans and everyone connected with the club can feel pretty pleased with the way things have gone today, by tomorrow it will be all over."
