Four-tune favours Lions

15 November 2012

Millwall quartet homeward bound

Manager Kenny Jackett will be hoping the four Millwall players away on international duty this week return to the club unscathed ahead of Sunday's Championship clash with Leeds United.
David Forde played the full 90 minutes for the Republic of Ireland in their 1-0 defeat to Greece, with striker Andy Keogh gaining his 26th cap after replacing Simon Cox on sixty minutes. The pair became the first two Millwall players to feature in the same international side since Josh Simpson and Adrian Serioux in 2005 for Canada against Costa Rica.
Chris Wood and Adam Smith were also in international action for New Zealand and England U21s respectively; the former continuing his great goalscoring form with the All Whites' equaliser in a 1-1 draw with China.
