Finish with a flourish

Kenny wants to sign off on winning note

Lions manager Kenny Jackett wants his side to upset the odds and sign off 2012 on a winning note with victory at promotion favourites Cardiff City on Saturday.
Malky Mackay's Welsh outfit are currently sitting five points clear of second-placed Hull City and have won a staggering 11 out of their 12 home games this season, losing just the once to Peterborough United.
However The Lions have a pretty decent away record, with a solitary defeat in their last nine matches away from SE16, and will hopefully benefit from having had no game on Boxing Day, unlike Saturday's hosts.
"Anybody who finishes above Cardiff will get promoted," said Kenny. "They have excellent players and I'm not really surprised that they are amongst the front-runners in this division.
However, we have shown this season that when we are on our game we are a match for anyone and we are very much looking forward to tomorrow's game."
