Millwall's Under 23s completed their 2020/21 Professional Development League campaign with a 2-0 victory at Hull City on Tuesday evening.
Tyrese Briscoe and Nana Boateng found the net in either half respectively to hand Kevin Nugent's side all three points at the KCOM Stadium.
The scoring was opened on the half-hour mark as Boateng sent Briscoe through on goal, with the striker placing his effort past the onrushing goalkeeper.
With time ticking away in the game - and the campaign as a whole - there was one last chance for Millwall to double their lead, and it was to be the goalscorer and provider who would switch roles, as Briscoe set up Boateng to put The Lions two to the good.
The Under 23s finish their season in sixth place in the Professional Development League South, two points off third-placed Cardiff City.
