Mason Saunders-Henry and Lazar Stojsavljevic were on target as Millwall's Under 23s defeated Hull City 2-1 in the Professional Development League on Monday night.
Keane Lewis-Potter reduced the arrears for The Tigers in the second-half, but the young Lions held on for their first League victory of the season.
The opening goal came on 20 minutes as Rob Harvey crossed in from the right for Saunders-Henry to guide an effort past Harrison Foulkes.
Stojsavljevic and scorer Saunders-Henry had further chances to extend Millwall's lead, but the former did so in the 53rd minute as he converted from close range following Joe Wicks' corner-kick.
Lewis-Potter then halved the deficit by beating Ryan Sandford with a header at the back post, but Kevin Nugent's side remained resolute to claim all three points.
Next up for the Under 23s is a home game with Bolton Wanderers at The Den this Sunday (kick-off 1pm) and supporters can gain FREE access following the Junior Lions Fun Day! Click here for more details.
