The highly-rated striker arrived at The Den for an undisclosed fee and penned a three-year contract.
Born in Sheffield, Lee kicked off his playing career as a junior at Sheffield United, but found his way into the senior game via Staveley Miners Welfare, for whom he scored 37 goals in his only season.
His scoring exploits didn't go unnoticed and Lee was snapped up by Mansfield Town. However, his chances with the Stags proved limited and it was when he moved to FC Halifax Town on a permanent basis in 2011 that his career took-off culminating in a prolific season last time out in which he bagged 31 goals in just 39 appearances.
Lee's debut season at The Den saw him hit the net on nine occasions, including a memorable hat-trick in the 3-3 draw with Derby County in April 2015.
He went from strength to strength in his second year as a Lion, forming a lethal partnership with Steve Morison that saw the duo score 46 goals between them. Lee was on target 27 times, including a four-goal haul at Plymouth Argyle in a 5-3 JPT Third Round victory.
