Introducing the squad

Posted 30th May 2016 at 05:26 pm

Millwall snapped up goalkeeper Jordan Archer on a two-year deal in June 2015 and he marked his first season by being crowned Player of the Year.

Scottish U21 international Archer initially joined The Lions on loan from Spurs in February 2015 and spent the latter part of that season as back up to David Forde.

Having previously gained League experience during loan spells at Wycombe (29 apps) and Northampton (16 apps), the 23-year-old started one of Millwall's first four games in 2015/16, but once named in the starting XI in a 0-0 draw at Scunthorpe in late August, there was no looking back and he went on to claim a further 19 clean sheets that season.

Jordan will be aiming to build on an exceptional first full year with The Lions and hopefully force his way into the reckoning on the international front too with Scotland.
