Millwall's young reserve side fought out a battling 1-1 draw with Watford at The Den on Tuesday afternoon.
Chances were few and far between in the first half, with Chris Day forced to save Anthony McNamee's early effort with his feet at one end while Sam Higgins headed Millwall's best opportunity over the bar from Scott Baron's cross on 27 minutes.
Things livened up after the break with substitute Ryan James heading straight at Hornets' keeper Ian Joyce before The Lions finally broke the deadlock just past the hour when Gary Noel nodded home a pinpoint Zoom Bakayogo centre.
Gary Bowes then headed inches over from another James' delivery, but just as Millwall looked on the verge of increasing their lead, a penalty conceded in their own box lead to Watford's leveller despatched by Steve Kabba.
Noel went close to restoring Millwall's lead, but it needed a late Day tip over to preserve a point in injury time.
