The 6ft 5in keeper signed for The Lions on a free transfer in summer 2010, the same day he cancelled his contract with relegated Southend United.
A Swindon trainee, he has spent much of his career in the lower leagues, representing NottsCounty, Oldham, Grimsby and Yeovil before heading to Roots Hall.
He is also one of a number of goalkeepers to have scored a goal as, in a League Cup match between County and Mansfield, his long, hopeful punt up field from a free-kick caught out Kevin Pilkington. It turned out to be the winner in a 4-3 win for The Magpies.
