Young Scottish midfielder Marc was signed from Manchester City on a two-and-a-half year deal in January 2008.
The exciting prospect had a spell on loan at Northampton during the 2006/7 campaign and then a brief spell at Port Vale, with the Valiants pipped at the post for his signature by Millwall.
Marc made his debut for The Lions at Vale Park, just three days after finalising his move south. He quickly reached 50 appearances, and featured heavily in midfield during the 2008/9 campaign.
