Young left sided player Scott was recruited by then boss Willie Donachie from his former club IpswichTown in the summer of 2007. Scott had to be patient waiting for first team opportunities to come his way, but early in 2008 he made a string of appearances at left back in the absence of Andy Frampton and Marcus Bignot. He continued deputising during 2008/9, whilst also managing to notch his first goal for the club in the FA Cup win over Crewe.
Signed a new contract in the summer as is now a key member of the squad.
