Lions hitman Steve 'Taffy' Morison is used to having the 'p' taken out of him for being called up by Wales.
But he could not take the pee out of himself after sinking Coventry.
The London-born striker took more than an hour and a half to provide a specimen for an FA drugs test.
He moaned: "They collared me when I was with Wales last week as well but it only took 10 minutes then."
But Morison is bursting with pride for bridging the gap between non-league football and the international scene in just 12 months. The striker marked his 27th birthday with his fourth goal of the season and today joins the Welsh for their Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro.
He said: "I qualify through my grandmother. The lads have been calling me Taffy but I just take it on the chin.
I'm loving life at Millwall. This team doesn't like losing and hopefully I can take some of that into the Welsh squad.
If I'm selected it will be a great honour.
It's fantastic to play at all these different levels. But, hopefully, I haven't peaked yet and there is more to come."
Morison, a £130,000 signing from Stevenage, hit 23 goals last season as the Lions were promoted to the Championship and there is no sign of a let-up.
He added: "We have made a great start but it's early days. We just want to get a good foothold in this league.
I found it harder stepping up into League One but that was because I didn't know what was expected of me.
There's no reason why a lot of our players can't play in the Premier League."
Morison's run and cross which forced a 17th-minute own goal from Martin Cranie was the first-half highlight.
But when Aron Gunnarsson broke away to equalise in the second half Coventry fancied their chances.
That was until sub Carl Baker was sent off in the 72nd minute for another booking, the second for kicking the ball away.
Millwall capitalised when Liam Trotter lobbed keeper Iain Turner for the second.
Then Morison scored from the spot in the 79th minute after being pushed over by another sub, James McPake.
Coventry keeper Turner, on loan from Everton, insisted: "This is a good club with every chance of going up this season."

Championship fans' verdict

Was it a good match? We deserved the win but made hard work of it - their equaliser was the catalyst we needed. On paper it will look as though we were fortunate given they had a man sent off and were awarded a penalty, but Millwall dominated the game, particularly in the second half. Coventry tested us more than other sides have done this season but never really asked questions of our defence. Who played well/who had a nightmare? Liam Trotter was exceptional, he's always been reliable but seems to have found an added finesse to his game. Jimmy Abdou had another excellent game in central midfield.

Steve Morison is ready to spearhead Wales' Euro qualifying campaign after continuing his red-hot start to the season.
The Millwall striker's second-half spot-kick, his fourth goal in five games, put the seal on a deserved win.
Morison, who turned 27 yesterday, enjoyed his first taste of international football earlier this month in a friendly win over Luxembourg.
But things get more serious this Friday as John Toshack's men travel to Montenegro for their Group G opener.
Morison was playing non-league football for Stevenage just two years ago but admits he found it harder finding his feet in League One than the Championship.
He said: "The step-up has been tough. We've had to work hard but it's another challenge you take on.
"If I'm selected it's a great honour. I couldn't have imagined this was possible six months ago as I was only imagining playing league football."
Martin Cranie gave the Lions a helping hand by netting an own goal after 17 minutes.
But Aidy Boothroyd's men levelled the scores on the hour through Aron Gunnarsson.
Any hopes the visitors had of holding out for a draw were ended when sub Carl Baker was sent off for a second booking 13 minutes after coming on.
Liam Trotter restored Millwall's lead after 75 minutes and Morison sealed the win from the spot four minutes later.
Boothroyd, who is set to sign disgraced striker Marlon King this week, will fine Baker two weeks' wages.
He said: "It was stupid what he did and he deserved to be sent off."
