As we celebrate Millwall's 125th anniversary on 2nd October against Burnley at The Den, we are offering a unique opportunity to 12 lucky 1885 Club members to be part of the day.
We are looking for a dozen Lions fans, wearing a variety of replica shirts from seasons gone by to form the 'guard of honour' as the teams take to the field.
How to apply
Email us with a picture of yourself in one of your old Lions shirts (or if that shirt doesn't quite fit as comfortably as it once did, you can nominate a smaller, younger person - please send a photo of them wearing the shirt).
Include your name, contact number and 1885 Club Membership number. If you do not have your 1885 Club Membership number yet please include your membership number instead.
Emails should be marked 'Burnley Guard of Honour' and sent to questions@millwallplc.com
What happens next?
Deadline for applications to be part of our Burnley Guard of Honour - 12 noon TODAY.
We will then draw the lucky winners to represent a variety of eras from Millwall's past (the less common the shirt, the greater chance you have of being selected).
Further details:
No match tickets will be included. Friends/relatives will not be admitted pitchside, they will need to be in their seats in good time to take photos. (Under 16s may be accompanied by one adult).
Immediately after the guard of honour you will need to leave the stadium and re-enter in the usual way to find your seat. You need to be prepared for the eventuality that you might miss the kick-off.
Your photo, as part of the group, will appear in a future match programme, possibly in the press, and will be personally emailed to you.
