Lions fan LCpl Chris Bryant is just one of many we know serving with our armed forces.
Chris returned safe and sound from Afghanistan earlier this year, but not everyone he served with was so lucky, and one of his good friends, Cpl Lee Scott, was a fatal casualty.
Lee left behind a wife, Nikki, and two young children and although devastated by the loss of her husband, Nikki is determined that Lee's memory is honoured by setting up a charity called Scottys Little Soldiers.
The charity aims to buy birthday and Xmas presents for all children who have lost a parent in the Iraq and Afghan wars, it is also aiming to buy three holiday homes around the UK and eventually one in Florida.
Scottys Little Soldiers is a charity for the children of the fallen - and we are right behind it.
Lions left-back Scott Barron is friends with a soldier who used to serve in the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment, so Scott was more than happy to add his weight behind the Scottys Little Soldiers by wearing a special blue charity wristband along with team-mates Liam Trotter, Tony Craig, Tamika Mkandawire, Jack Smith and Kevin Lisbie.
Full details on the charity can be found on their official website
