To avoid any possible confusion we would like to provide the full background details regarding this year's event for our younger supporters:
We are delighted that on Sunday 19th September, the Junior Lions will be joining forces with the Millwall Community Scheme to hold a special Junior Lions Community Open Day here at The Den, sponsored by McDonald's.
Junior Lions events have grown in popularity over the last few years and the Fun Day is a favourite on the calendar of many young Lions fans.
With a record membership in excess of 2,100 Junior Lions at present, the facilities at both the Community Scheme and The Den on 19th September will provide more scope for even bigger and better activities on the day.
These include inflatables, football skills sessions and stadium tours.
Martin Keown, the former Arsenal and England defender who is an ambassador for the FA and McDonald's, will be present on the day.
But for most young Lions fans, the prospect of meeting their favourite Lions players, along with manager Kenny Jackett, will be one of the major highlights, with autographs and photographs top of the agenda!
The League One Play-Off Final trophy will also be on show, with an opportunity for our young fans to have their picture taken with it.
The day begins at 10am and finishes at around 4pm. Entry is free.
