It's massive

Posted on: Fri 20 Aug 2010

There may be a degree of familiarity between Millwall and Leeds United after the promotion battles they have fought over the past two seasons, but there is certainly no contempt.
Like The Lions, Simon Grayson's men are tasting life back in the Championship for the first time after too long an absence, and Kenny Jackett is under no illusions that this remains one of the biggest fixtures for his side at the higher level.
He said: "Elland Road is a great place to play football, there is always a terrific atmosphere there and we have had some really competitve games with Leeds in recent seasons. This one will be keenly contested as always.
I've got great respect for the job Simon Grayson has done there, winning automatic promotion last season and like us they are keen to establish themselves at the higher level."
Leeds go into this game looking for their first League success of the campaign after an opening day defeat to Derby and a battling 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest last Sunday.
However, once they have all their key players back fit and firing they are bound to make an impact and The Lions will expect another tough test on Saturday (kick-off 12.30pm).
Don't forget, Lions Player subscribers will enjoy full 90 minutes commentary, as ever, from Elland Road and can also view Kenny Jackett's entire pre-match preview now. Click here to subscribe - it's the best 10 pence per day you can spend!
