The Lions may have covered around 900 miles travelling with successive away games at Walsall and then Carlisle United, but physio Bobby Bacic took time out to bring us up to date with the very latest from the treament room:
The players have had two tough away matches in a very short space of time and have all come through relatively un-scathed.
We have had to modify a few players' training regimes to allow them maximum recovery time during the periods when they have had midweek matches and they have responded very well.
The only unlucky player is Neil Harris, who is currently in the treatment room after nursing his knee having received a heavy blow to it during the Walsall match.
Neil will be in a race against time to be fit for the weekend, he has a very good track record in recovering fast from knocks so we hope he can maintain his good record.
Gary Alexander has started very light running after his operation. He still has a long way to go following intricate surgery, so we will be very methodical with his running and will progress accordingly.
