Goal-den shot!

Posted on: Fri 05 Mar 2010

Neil Harris heads back to the Banks's Stadium full of confidence - and goals - as The Lions aim to record their eighth win in the last nine Leaguer One starts.
Chopper has bagged five goals in the last five matches including winners against Hartlepool and Exeter - and his fine form Harris_articlehas been recognised by Coca-Cola, who have included the striker in their list of nominees for the League One February Player of the Month.
Last season 32-year-old Neil had special reason to enjoy The Lions' 2-1 win at Walsall with his strike at the Banks's Stadium equalling Teddy Sheringham's all-time goalscoring record.
And manager Kenny Jackett will be hoping that Chopper's goal-den touch continues on Saturday.
"Neil's goal scoring has been very good and the big plus factor as well is the fact they've been crucial goals which have earned us points," said Kenny about his 17-goal top scorer.
"Neil has done very well and has had a good season so far. His goals tally speaks for itself, but his overall contribution has been very high too.
Any experienced player will lead by example but which way they lead is different.
Neil's experience of doing well at Millwall is considerable and that is important too."
If you fancy a flutter on Chopper increasing his goal tally against Walsall our betting partners at bet365 have plenty of prices including 5/1 for first or last goalscorer. Click here for a full list of prices.
