Millwall head up the motorway to Walsall on Saturday looking to try and nudge their way back into the top six.
A spectacular run of seven wins from the last eight League One games has kept The Lions firmly in the thick of the promotion race, level on points with sixth-placed Huddersfield and nine points adrift of Leeds United in the second automatic spot.
"If you look at it as a block or run, it's very hard to do that in any standard of football whoever you are," said Kenny.
"It's a fantastic run and the players should be commended for putting that together when, to be fair, we really did need it.
We have had a reasonably successful month and I'm pleased with that because results have been good.
However we know that we have to be on top of our game all of the time to get results and we need to really concentrate both ways and be as It's good that our season is in front of us. We're not looking to rely on other people.
It's in our hands - what we do over the last 13 games. It's a nice position to be in and we should enjoy it and be thriving on it now."
* Don't forget that if you haven't got your ticket for Saturday's game yet Lions fans can pay on the day at Walsall on production of your valid season ticket or membership card.
