Chris Hackett is set to pen a two-year contract extension that will keep him at The Den until the summer of 2012.
Chris, who celebrates his 27th birthday on Monday 1st March, has again been an influential figure for Kenny Jackett's side this season, making 33 appearances, scoring two goals and providing a number of excellent assists.
Lions chief executive Andy Ambler said: "We are delighted to have reached an agreement with Chris and look forward to the signing being completed before Saturday's game."
Chris added: "I'm really pleased to sign an extension to my contract and secure the next few years at the club.
I really enjoy playing for Millwall, the fans are terrific and working with the management team here has helped me improve my game. Now I hope to help win promotion to The Championship."
