Zampa the Lion will be in action today when he takes part in the Bobby Moore 5k run on Blackheath.
The event, which is in aid of the cancer charity named after England's 1966 World Cup winning captain, takes place at 1.30pm following the womens' Race for Life'.
The race starts and finishes close to the Prince of Wales pub on the heath, which will certainly be handy afterwards, and Zampa is bidding to better the 24 minutes it took him to complete the same distance in the everyman run at the beginning of June.
If any Lions fans are in the area today, get yourselves along to give Zampa a cheer.
