Following the incident at Villa Park on Saturday in which the referee's assistant was struck above the eye by a coin, we would reiterate our zero tolerance approach to anyone caught throwing missiles at The Den.
Clearly this practice is highly dangerous and consequently would lead not only to arrest and prosecution, but also an indefinite ban from our ground.
At our top-of-the-table match with Leeds United on Saturday the vast majority of fans enjoyed a fantastic day.
Regrettably there were a small number of incidents which were dealt with at the time and are being investigated further.
Our manager Kenny Jackett and the players have praised the support they received at the weekend, but have also echoed our call for all fans to channel their passion in the appropriate way.
Millwall chairman John G Berylson stated: "As Neil Harris pointed out after his match-winning performance on Saturday, the passion of our supporters is what makes this club unique in many ways.
However, it is essential that this passion does not spill over into anti-social behaviour which everyone regards as unacceptable."
