Robbo return
Paul Robinson is set to return to the Lions defence for Saturday's first home League encounter of the new campaign against Southend United at The Den on Saturday (3pm), and he could find himself up against a veteran striker who has made life difficult on more than one occasion for Millwall down the years.
Paul Furlong (39) was on target for Luton in the 1-1 draw against The Lions at Kenilworth Road last season, and the much travelled front man, now at his 9th club is still going strong, having played in Southend's opening two fixtures.
Southend boss Steve Tilson is hoping James Walker, who missed the midweek Cup exit at the hands of Cheltenham, might be fit to return, while Kenny Jackett has plenty of selection options.
Only Danny Spiller (groin), Marcus Bignot (knee) and Danny Senda (knee) are ruled out for this one, and the manager just has to decide on the permutation he believes can put those vital points on the board.
In the corresponding fixture last season, goals from Gary Alexander and Dave Martin earned The Lions a vital win against the Play-Off chasing Shrimpers.
